I have been passionate about sharing knowledge for a long time before joining the Going Digital team. I have experience of teaching in a university environment and for a commercial training company. Although my teaching and coaching experience started in my teens, where my first job was as a swimming instructor at a local pool and coaching at several clubs. I finding it satisfying sharing knowledge and helping others discover their passion whilst always learning something new myself during the process.
I have been a serious amateur photographer for the last 10 years but before that I led a team of photographers at a leading vehicle research and testing facility for a few years and converted them to a fully digital environment. I’m a techie and enjoy the theory and technology side of photography as well as the creativity element that is the point of all photography.
I’m a member of a photographic society in the East Anglia Federation and take part in competitions and have had images displayed in the Federations annual exhibition. I have a keen interest in nature, wildlife, and macro photography whilst enjoying trying other genres as well. Expect to see photographic walks as well the workshops in the region with the opportunities for more challenging techniques such as long exposure, light painting, and creative macro.
I run workshops and training in the Going Digitals East Anglia region covering Norfolk, Suffolk, and parts of Essex.
