Learn how easy it is to use your camera to capture the varying moods of water in your photographs. We'll take you to picturesque locations with ample opportunities to get great shots, with lots of great advice from experienced landscape photographers, and the chance to review and discuss your photos as a group. 

Content:

  • How to vary shutter speeds to freeze or blur motion

  • When and how to use ND filters to make sure you get stunning shots even in difficult conditions

  • How to use polarising filters when photographing water

  • How to improve your images with good composition

Where: Commencing with a briefing to make sure that you know how to set up your camera for the day, before venturing out to your locations for the day where your tutor will take you to the best vantage points to capture stunning images, and be on hand to answer your questions and discuss your images with you throughout the day.

Cameras:  DSLR, Mirrorless Compact System, Four-Thirds.

Equipment: To get the most from this workshop you will require a tripod (full height). Optional equipment - ND filters, polarising filter, remote shutter release.

Previous Experience: To get the most from this workshop you should have attended our beginners photography course or be confident shooting in Aperture Priority and using Exposure Compensation.

Times: Full day, usually 10 am to 4 pm but please check your joining instructions.
