Introduction to Photography - Get off Auto
Flatford Mill, Suffolk
Introduction To Photography, Part 1 - Get Off Auto: If you're stuck on the Auto setting on your camera and frustrated because you're not getting the photos that you want, then this is the course for you! This workshop will have a maximum of 10 students and will start at 10am set within the beautiful grounds of the Field Studies Centre at Flatford Mills, where we banish jargon and explain in plain English how to take control of your camera and get off Auto. The theory part of this workshop is conducted in a classroom at the Field Studies and Centre followed by plenty of practise out in the grounds and useful reference materials emailed afterwards.
Introduction to Photography - Movement
Cromer
If you have attended an Introduction to Photography - Get Off Auto Workshop or are comfortable with the basics including Aperture Priority, this workshop teaches you how to photograph moving subjects to freeze or intentionally blur movement. The Cromer Pier, promenade, and beach will provide a backdrop and plenty of opportunities for learning how to take further control of your camera, master more modes and improve your composition and creativity. Close-up & Macro
Flatford Mill, Suffolk
Creative Macro Photography - Create your own amazing artistic shots, from capturing water droplets to reflections in raindrops and much more. Creative Close up and Macro workshop in Field Studies Centre at Flatford Mills. We will play with bubbles, water drop collisions, oil and water mixture and water drops on various surfaces to see what creative images we can come up with. You will need your imagination and either a dedicated macro lens or a set of extension tubes or a bridge camera with a macro function to get the most out of the session.
