Osterley House is in West London (Picadilly Line), is easily accessible by car from the M25, as it is just off the M4. Parking is free for course attendees. A jewel in the heart of London, Osterley is a Tudor house transformed into an elegant Robert Adams neo-classical mansion in a landscaped park and 18th-century gardens. The park containes a number of serpentine lakes with an abundance of birdlife breeding here. These birds and their spring babies provide lively subjects for our photographers. The fantastic plants of the Pleasure Gardens flower throughout the seasons offer yet more inspiration for budding photographers. The 18th-century gardens and neo-classical garden buildings were created as a peaceful and separate haven in which to stroll, sit and think, and the neoclassical summerhouse is especially beautiful.
