Morden Hall Park is a National Trust park located on the banks of the river Wandle in Morden, South London. It covers over 125 acres of parkland with the River Wandle meandering through it spanned by numerous foot bridges. The estate contains Morden Hall itself, an old Snuff Mill, and many old farm buildings, some of which are now a garden centre and a city farm. The rose garden has over 2000 roses.
River Wandle and Wetlands
Water lies at the heart of Morden Hall Park. Stroll alongside the River Wandle, waterways, mill ponds and a lake as you explore the estate. The lush wetlands, riverbanks and islands provide homes to a variety of plants, animals, insects and birdlife. Look out for wildfowl, heron and the brilliant blue of a kingfisher
Student Feedback
Hi, apologies for not e-mailing you earlier to say Thank you for a great day at Morden hall park the other saturday. I have had a virus on my laptop. I really enjoyed the day, a lot to take in but will try to put it into practice and stay away from the P setting on my Panasonic camera. Off to Kew Gardens to give it a try. Many thanks. Kind regards, Benita Bradley.
