GD Photography Limited processes data and stores it within the UK or EU regions subject to UK and EU GDPR and Data Protection requirement.

The data we collect

• Name
• Email address
• Telephone number
• Postal address
• Courses attended
• Camera details

Unless you ask to subscribe to our occasional newsletters, we will only use your contact details to communicate with you regarding your booking or purchase.

You have the right to remove your details from our database. To do so just login to your Customer account.

We will contact you by email where possible, but we ask for your telephone number when booking a workshop in case we have to contact you urgently – we will not otherwise contact you by telephone.

When you make a booking for a workshop, you will have the opportunity to opt to receive our seasonal newsletters and special offers. If you choose not to receive our newsletters you will not receive any unsolicited mail from Going Digital.

Methods of collection

We collect client data through our checkout page and through our account creation and account updating pages.

How we use your data

We use this data for delivering our workshops including sending joining instructions and updates by email and to send emails and newsletters about our services, workshops, and offers relating to our services. We may use mobile phone calls and SMS messages about workshops if urgent information and changes need to be communicated. Unless you ask to subscribe to our occasional newsletters, we will only use your contact details to communicate with you regarding your booking or purchase.

You can unsubscribe from newsletters and communications using your account on the website or via unsubscribe links in emails and newsletters.

Security of data

GD Photography Limited take security very seriously, so we have a secure website and store data securely at rest and in transit using strong encryption (TLSv1.2).

Third Party Service Providers

GD Photography Limited has partnered with a number of selected service providers, whose services and solutions complement, facilitate and enhance our own. These include hosting, website design, billing and payment processing services, e-mail distribution services (collectively, “Third Party Service Provider(s)”).

We do not store credit or debit card details; all payment details are collected and processed by Stripe whose privacy policy can be read here: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy

We use cookies and similar technologies as follows:

• Essential cookies — required for the website to work securely, including sign-in, your basket and booking flow (for example session and CSRF cookies). These do not require consent.
• Analytics cookies — with your permission, we use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics so we can understand how the site is used and improve it. Google may process this information in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.

You can accept or refuse analytics cookies via our cookie banner (Klaro), and change your mind later using the “Cookie preferences” link in the website footer. Payment details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us as card numbers; see Stripe’s privacy policy.
