Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Hive, Hurst Lane, Auckley, Doncaster. DN9 3QYYORKSHIRE WILDLIFE PARK – GUIDED PHOTOGRAPHY WALK - Grab your camera and join us for a relaxed morning of wildlife photography at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
With an incredible variety of animals to photograph, this is a brilliant opportunity to practise your wildlife photography in a friendly, supportive group — whether you want to capture a beautiful animal portrait, movement and action, or simply try something a little different with your camera.
We'll start the morning over a drink, chatting through useful camera settings and getting everyone ready before we head into the park together. As we make our way around, we'll look at how to adapt your settings for different animals and situations, anticipate behaviour, choose viewpoints and backgrounds, and compose images that have real impact.
This is a guided photowalk rather than a formal workshop, so there'll be plenty of time to photograph, experiment and share ideas with the group. I'll be alongside you throughout to offer help, suggestions and encouragement whenever you need it.
The group is limited to just FIVE photographers, keeping it relaxed and giving everyone plenty of individual support.
Time: 9am–1pm
Group size: Maximum 5 photographers
Park admission: Not included and must be purchased separately.
A lens of 200mm or longer is recommended.
Our exact meeting point will be confirmed approximately one week before the session.
Accessibility & terrain: Yorkshire Wildlife Park is predominantly flat with good paths, but it is a large site and this session involves a significant amount of walking — you should expect to cover several miles during the morning. Mobility scooters may be available to hire directly from Yorkshire Wildlife Park; please check availability, suitability and booking arrangements with the park in advance. If you have any mobility or accessibility requirements, you're very welcome to contact us before booking to discuss the session.
