Gibraltar Point

Join us on the rugged east coast at Gibraltar Point, which is a National Nature Reserve, for a morning of creative coastal photography. With it being a nature reserve, there's likely to be an opportunity to photograph the wildlife as well as the scenery.

This is a relaxed, fun group session running from 8.30am until around midday, providing the opportunity to learn, build, and practice your photography skills with other like-minded people.

You'll learn how to create and expose for those stunning smooth water and smoky sea images, how to use polarising and ND filters, and we will also look at the art of composition and how to best capture the Nature Reserve.

There will be a Zoom presentation in the week leading up to the workshop, usually on a Tuesday evening, and the practical part of the workshop, which lasts around 3.5 hours, will take place on the morning of 31st May at Gibraltar Point. There will be plenty of time on the day to review your images; however, you can also opt for a short personal review over Zoom. Joining instructions will be emailed to you around a week beforehand, so you know where to meet, what time to arrive, and what to bring.

Filters are available to borrow on the day; however, please bring a tripod with you to make the most of the practical session.
