Cromford Mill, Matlock

With its beautiful location in rolling hills with limestone tors and its wonderful history, the Cromford Mill Conference Centre offers a truly unique venue within the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. The Gothic Warehouse, our classroom for the day,  was built in the late eighteenth century to service the Cromford Canal Wharf. It takes its name from the castellated gable which was included to help it blend with nearby Willersley Castle, the Arkwright family home.
