Photographing Fascinating Small Creatures. We're delighted to be offering three-hour photography experiences again at White Post Farm in North Nottinghamshire, photographing a variety of fascinating creatures, including snakes, tarantulas, lizards, frogs, cockroaches, geckos, stick insects, millipedes, and giant snails.Craig, their handler, will be with us to introduce us to them and tell us all about them, along with tutor and photographer Louise, who will guide you through photographing these amazing creatures and will be with you offering advice and guidance on composition to create stunning images, the importance of depth of field in close up work, the use of props and backgrounds, and any technical information or help that you might need.

There will be a Zoom presentation in the week leading up to the workshop, usually on a Monday evening, and the practical part of the workshop, which lasts three hours, will be at White Post Farm on 19th September from 10am until 1pm.

There will be a maximum of five people, so you can get as close as possible to each animal and receive lots of individual attention.

The workshop requires a minimum of 3 people to run; if fewer than 3 attend, your session will roll over to a future date of your choice. The price includes entrance into White Post Farm. Ideally, you'll have been on a Part 1 workshop and have a working knowledge of aperture, ISO and shutter speed. A macro lens would be advantageous.
