NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY WALK – LEEDS - Wrap up warm, grab your tripod and join us for an evening getting creative with your camera in Leeds after dark.

Leeds completely changes when the light disappears, giving us a fantastic mix of grand architecture, city lights, reflections, movement and atmospheric urban spaces to photograph.

Starting in Millennium Square, we'll make our way through the city centre, looking for photographic opportunities around Leeds Town Hall and City Square, before heading towards the wonderfully atmospheric Dark Arches and Granary Wharf.

Along the way we'll experiment with low-light photography and longer exposures, capture light trails from passing traffic, look for reflections and interesting compositions, and have some fun with painting with light too.

This is a relaxed, supportive photowalk rather than a formal workshop. We'll photograph together, share ideas and inspiration, and I'll be on hand throughout to help with settings, composition or anything else you get stuck with.

It's a lovely opportunity to get out with your camera, try something different and enjoy photographing alongside other people — hopefully heading home with photographs of Leeds that you didn't think you'd be able to create.

Time: 7pm–9pm

Meeting point: Millennium Square at 6.50pm, ready to set off promptly at 7pm.

You'll need a digital camera that allows you to set both aperture and shutter speed, plus a tripod. Loan tripods are available if required.
